Your plans are built only from what you enter

What that means in practice

• If you don't tell us a subject was taught, that subject is left out of the document entirely. It is never padded with plausible-sounding filler.
• Textbooks, programmes and schemes appear by name only when you have entered that name yourself. We never assume a school uses a particular programme.
• Chapter titles, unit numbers and page ranges come from the book progress and unit details you record — never from guesswork.
• School events, trips and visitors appear only when you have added them.
• In support plans, we never invent interventions, pupil numbers, support hours or assessment scores.
• Your own wording is kept as you wrote it rather than swapped for a synonym.

How we keep ourselves honest

This isn't only a policy. Every generated document carries a visible "Built from what you entered" note with an expandable list of the details it was assembled from, so you and your principal can check the source of anything on the page. Behind the scenes we run an automated test suite that deliberately submits sparse and partial information and checks that nothing was invented to fill the gaps. Where teachers have reported a document overstepping, we've fixed the cause and added a test so it cannot come back.

What we don't claim

Pleanóir drafts the writing for you, and the wording is generated, so you remain the professional in charge of it. Every document is fully editable before you download or share it, and you should read it as you would any draft prepared for your signature. Our promise is about the facts: we won't put content in your plan that you didn't give us.
